Born in Mesagne (1977), Marco Tavernese won the "Pucciarelli-D'Afflitto" award from the Rotary Club International (1994) and in 2001 he graduated with honors from the University of Rome "La Sapienza". At the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" he attended post-graduate specialization courses in forensic psychopathology (2002) and protection and promotion of human rights (2003).In 2004 he obtained the diplôme d'études spécialisées en droit international at the Université Libre de Bruxelles where he attended, in particular, the courses of droit de l'Union Européenne, droit européen de la concurrence, protection européenne et internationale des droits des hommes and Cour de Justice des Communautés Européennes. Also in 2004 he enrolled in the Rome Bar Association and collaborated with the Law Firm of Avv. Enrico Luberto specialising in labour law and industrial relations.In 2005 he became Junior Associate of the Sutti Law Firm in Milan in its headquarters in Via Montenapoleone, Department of Public Economic Law. In 2006 he established a collaboration with the Law Firm of Avv. Leopoldo de' Medici in Rome – which lasted until November 2008 – where he dealt with commercial, corporate and administrative law for major companies operating in the field of the construction of large public works.He is an assistant professor of EU and administrative law and in the academic year 2007/2008 he was an adjunct professor in the field of safety at work in the training courses for the Guardia di Finanza organized by the Free University "San Pio V" of Rome.In December 2008 he founded the Marco Tavernese Law Firm. Adjunct Professor of Labour Law at the University of Perugia, School of Specialization for the Legal Professions "L. Migliorini", a.y. 2009/2010. Member of the Study Commission for Labour Law, Council of the Rome Bar Association (2010).
